Survival of V. cracca L. posterity obtained from chronically irradiated phytocenosis

Description
A comparative study was made of the dose dependence of survival of posterity of a natural V. cracca L. population growing on soils with different content of radionuclides of uranium series. It was shown that the long-term living in conditions of increased radiation background (∼ 143 pC(kgxs)-1 can lead to rearrangements in the genetical structure of the population manifested by its increased radioresistance
