Process of nucleation for substances with various types of crystal lattices

Description
The process of nucleation for 30 compounds with different types of crystal lattice is considered in this paper. The surface energies for crystals of the examined compounds are determined, as well as the sizes of critical nuclei and nucleation energies. A relationship between these values as well as energy of unit cell formation and the arrangement of pairs in the lattice is shown
