Description
The X-ray fluorescence method was introduced to measure the weight of an Nb monitor used for the neutron fluence measurement via the 93Nb(n,n')93mNb reaction in a fission reactor. Results were compared with those obtained by γ-spectrometry based on the 93Nb(n,γ)94Nb reaction. For comparison, the specific activities of 93mNb measured in two different laboratories are also given. (author)
