On the beta-spectroscopic analysis of environmental samples
Description
An automatic beta-spectrometer for multichannel analysis of samples is described. It is constructed on the basis of the CAMAC units and the SM-4 computer. An organic scintillator is used as a detector of beta-radiation. The software for the spectrometer includes sets of programmes for the beta spectrum registration system and for the mathematical processing and constructing of the spectrum. A procedure for determining the radionuclide amounts in a sample is described
