Physical properties and behavior of allotropically pure α-, β-, and γ-Ce
Description
This paper summarizes most of the reliable information available on the physical properties of the three cerium allotropes. No attempt has been made to support or to disprove any of the current theories concerning the nature of α- or γ-Ce and the a-γ transformation. A large part of these theories have been based on unreliable physical property data, but with good data available on allotropically pure cerium phases, these theories should be reexamined. 4 figures
