Collective slowing-down and energetics of accelerated electrons in solar flares
Description
The propagation of a superthermal electron flux in solar atmosphere plasma in the case when the reverse current is unstable is studied. The above mechanism of collective slowing-down can bring about the attenuation of radiation with the energy ∼ 10 keV as compared with radiation generated in the traditional model of a thick target
