Hypernetted-chain approximation for nuclear matter

Description
The ground state energy of nuclear matter is calculated for two model potentials (OMY and IY) by using a recent Fermi-Hypernetted-Chain technique. The results imply that one might discover the source of the recently discussed discrepancies between the results from Jastrow- and t-matrix approaches. (Auth.)
