Level density for nuclei in the range of 230 (<=) A (<=) 254

Description

In framework of a semi-microscopical method the level density is calculated at the neutron binding energy for nuclei in the r 230 (<=) A (<=) 254. A satisfactory agreement with the corresponding experimental data is obtained. The energy dependence of the total level density in 230Th is also calculated and it is shown that the semi-microscopical method describes it reasonably
