Study of electrode process kinetics on the interface of borosilicate oxide melt with solid platinum base alloys

Description

The method of stationary voltametry has been applied to investigate electrode polarization of platinum an its alloys with Hf, Y, Zr in borosilicate molten glass. An estimation is made of the influence of dissolved water on rates of electrode processes. A more accurate mechanism of electrode processes is proposed that describes well available experimental data
