Looking back on the robots used for Fukushima nuclear accident based on lessons learnt from past nuclear accidents

Description
Eight years have already passed since the accident at Fukushima Nuclear Power Station. This paper reconfirms several robots that were introduced in the Three Mile Island accident and the Chernobyl nuclear accident in the past, as well as the lessons learnt from them. It also chronologically looks back on the robots used for handling the Fukushima nuclear accident based on the past historical lessons. The author hopes that this paper help discuss the future development of robots for the decommissioning of Fukushima Nuclear Power Station. (A.O.)

福島原発の事故からすでに8年が経過した.本稿では、過去のスリーマイルとチェルノブイリの原発事故で投入されたいくつかのロボットとそこから得られた教訓を再確認し、これまで福島原発の事故対応に投入された数々のロボットをその教訓に基づいて時系列的に振り返ることで、今後の福島原発の廃炉に向けたロボット開発につながる議論としたい.(著者)Additional details
