Radiometer with background substraction
Description
Gamma sampling radiometry as a useful survey method in uranium mines is shortly described. The basic problem of this technique is the background compensation. A time-saving automatic method has been developed. Two detector tubes are housed in a specially formed lead screen. The substraction and evaluation of the detector signals are made automatically by an electronic circuit. (R.J.)
