Two-photon e± pair production in the strong magnetic field
Description
Two-photon production of e± pairs in a strong magnetic field is considered for the case when the energy of each photon is insufficient for pair production as a result of one-photon production. Resonance singularities in the cross section for the process are observed. It is found that the energy threshold of the cross section is lower compared with that for pair production in the absence of the field. The dependence of the cross section on photon polarization is investigated
