Particle identification for HI-13 tandem AMS measurements

  • 1. Academia Sinica, Beijing, BJ (China). Inst. of Atomic Energy

Description

The particle identification techniques used in the accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) system based on the HI-13 tandem accelerator at China Institute of Atomic Energy have been introduced. With this system, 10Be, 26Al, 36Cl and 129I in natural samples were measured with a sensitivity of 10-13-10-15 (isotope ratio) and a detection limit of 105-107 atoms
