Description

The 32S(3He,t)32Cl reaction was studied at 34.5 MeV incident energy. Thirty-four energy levels were identified in 32Cl. Spectroscopic information was derived from the angular distribution shapes for twenty-six levels and corroborated by Coulomb displacement energy calculations. Our level scheme for 32Cl corresponds very well to that for 32P up to Ex ≅ 3 MeV. (orig.)
