Description
An attempt was made to study the processes causing stainless steel localized corrosion, i.e. craking: kinetics of mechanical depassivation by plastic straining. This paper brings to light the molybdenum effect on localized and general corrosion of austenitic stainless steel under constant straining rate in 44% MgCl2 solution
