A Nuclear Materials Management Control System for Uranium Reactor Fuel Element Fabrication (A Hypothetical Case)

Description

A control system for effective nuclear materials management requires the collection and dissemination of varying data. This paper describes a control system that will meet the requirements and at the same time eliminate duplication of effort by combining the data collection needs of accountability, production control and process control. The presentation is divided into three parts: the data required; collection, tabulation and distribution of the data; and how the data is used. Each topic will be covered in sufficient detail to provide the nucleus for establishing a control system. (author)

Sistema kontrolja dlja obespechenija jeffektivnosti administrativno-hozjajstvennogo ucheta jadernyh materialov trebuet sobiranija i rasprostranenija razlichnyh dannyh. Daetsja opisanie sistemy kontrolja, otvechajushhej jetim trebovanijam i, vmeste s tem, iskljuchajushhej dublirovanie blagodarja obedineniju usilij v sobiranii dannyh dlja otchetnosti, proizvodstvennogo i tehnologicheskogo kontrolja. Rassmatrivajut tri temy: trebuemye dannye; sbor, sostavlenie tablic i rasprostranenie dannyh; sposoby ispol'zovanija dannyh. Kazhdaja iz jetih tem razrabatyvalas' s dostatochnymi podrobnostjami, chtoby sluzhit' osnovoj dlja sozdanija sistemy kontrolja. (author)

Todo sistema de control para una administración eficaz de los materiales nucleares requiere la compilación y distribución de diversos datos. En esta memoria se describe un sistema que satisface las exigencias fundamentales del control y al mismo tiempo evita la duplicación combinando las necesidades de los servicios de contabilidad, control de la producción y control de las operaciones. Se divide en tres partes que tratan, respectivamente, de los datos necesarios, de su compilación, tabulación, y distribución y de la manera de utilizarlos. Cada uno de estos temas es objeto de un estudio detenido cuya finalidad es facilitar las bases para el establecimiento de un sistema de control. (author)
