Thermal stability of dislocation loops and formation of fine disperse phases in helium alloyed OKh16N15M3B steel
Description
Electron microscopic study of annealing kinetics of interstitial dislocation loops and fine disperse phase formation at 80 deg C in the process of aging of the OKh16N15M3B steel helium alloyed up to 1x10-2 at.% concentration, was carried out. The study results showed the presence of helium induced fine disperse phase formation in a steel. Stabilization of radiation failures in the form of dislocation loops by helium is a desive factor. It is noted that fine disperse phase formation is connected with heterogeneous particle origination on dislocation loops. It was observed also that the Frank loop transformation into complete dislocation loops is a supplementary inducing factor
