Study of vanadium with tri-n-butyl phosphate extraction by infrared spectroscopy and proton resonance method

  • 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Odessa. Inst. Obshchej i Neorganicheskoj Khimii

Description

Vanadium TBP chloride extracts have been studied by infrared-spectroscopy and proton resonance. It has been shown that vanadium extraction follows a hydroxonium mechanism. Vanadium enters into the extracts in the form of hydrated solvate complexes. The composition of the compound being extracted is H2VO3ClxTBPxnH2O
