Development of high dose rate in-cell monitor
- 1. Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam (India). Safety Research and Health Physics Group
Description
A hot cell monitor has been developed. The instrument is designed to measure exposure rate up to 2000 R/hr with a provision to log the measured exposure rate at periodic intervals. The performance of the instrument should be stable as it is required to monitor the radiation continuously. The instrument employs a small ion-chamber as the detector and the current from the chamber is measured by a very low drift D.C. amplifier. (author). 2 refs., 2 figs
