Status report on the Swiss LCT-coil

Description

The Swiss contribution to the Large Coil Task (LCT) is a NbTi based 8T coil cooled by pressurised supercritical helium in forced flow mode. Its fabrication nears completion. This progress report reviews some final calculations, the experience on conductor and coil fabrication as well as the instrumentation foreseen and the results of the current lead tests
