La fixation des niveaux d'intervention determinant l'application des mesures d'intervention en cas d'accident presente des difficultes particulieres liees aux imprecisions relatives aux estimations des couts d'application et de la reduction du detriment accidentel obtenue. L'application des principes de rationalisation des choix et d'optimisation de la decision constitue une methode rationnelle d'approche de ce probleme
