Diffusion interaction in Y2O3-BaO-CuO system

Description

A number of phases, realized in the systems studied is obtained by diffusion layer method and sequence of their formation is determined: Y2Cu2O5, Y2BaCuO5, YBa2Cu3O7-δ, YBa3Cu2O6.5±δ. It is ascertained that these compounds possess no homogeneity regions by cation composition. Primary diffusion of copper and barium cation diffusion to Y2O3 monocrystal is indicated. Diffusion vacancy mechanism in this system is ascertained. A volumetric YBa2Cu3O7-δ composition monocrystal with rhombic structure and Tc ∼ 80 K is produced for the first time by diffusion layer method
