Partial ionic conductivities of co-cationic solid electrolytes with the γ-KFeO2 structure

Description
Contribution of different alkali metal ions into conductivity of co-cation solid electrolytes in the systems 0.75(Rb1-xCsxFeO2) · 0.25TiO2 and 0.75(K1-xCsxFeO2) · 0.25TiO2 (x = 0.7, 0.8, 0.9) has been estimated by the method of measuring transfer numbers. The determining influence of the size factor on transport properties of the electrolytes has been ascertained, moreover, a change in cation size in the series K-Rb-Cs and related change int he volume of unit cell have a more pronounced effect on mobility of larger cation, i.e. Cs+. 12 refs.; 4 figs
