Description

Processes directly connected with the phosphorus transport mechanism from root to above-ground organs were studied with the aid of P-32 radionuclide. 50-day old plants of maize (simple parental LSP hybrid) cultivated on Knop nutrient solution were used as experimental material. Prior to removing the plants on to the radioactive solution with specific activity 0.5 μCi P-32 ml-1 in 10-4M KH2PO4 the former were incubated for 2 hours in solutions with particular applied preparates.
