This text compilation contains the legal texts that form the basis for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and ionizing radiation in Germany, e.g. the executive orders of the Atomic Energy Law, the Radiation Protection Ordinance and X-Ray Ordinance, and the state competence regulations for implementation of the regulations of atomic law. The turnaround in the energy policy of the German government have been implemented. For example, in Section 7 No. 1a, 1 the termination of the operating period of the Biblis A, Neckarwestheim 1, Biblis B, Brunsbuettel, Isar 1, Unterweser, Philippsburg 1 and Kruemmel nuclear power stations is set on 6 August 2011. The operating periods of the other nine nuclear power plants will end between 31 December 2015 and 31 December 2022. Further amendments in the UVPG and the state competence regulations are considered as well.
