Description
Morphology functional state of blood capillaries of 20-days fetuses of white rat under acute and chronic irradiation in 0,5 and 1,0 Gy doses during antenatal period of development was observed. Correlation between the level of destruction of all functional elements of endotheliocytes from one hand and both absorbed doses, dose rate and the age of fetuses to the time of irradiation from the other hand was revealed. Most pronounced alterations were found in hemo capillaries both in the case of acute irradiation in 1,0 Gy dose at the 14 days of gestation and in the case of prolonged irradiation during the whole antenatal period. Acute and chronic irradiation of fetuses in low doses exerts considerable influence on energy transport system of endothelium cells as well as on plastic and synthetic functions of the cells
