Silicic acid effect of mass transfer during extraction of inorganic acids and zirconium nitrate in TBP

Description
The effect of structure-mechanical barrier formed by polymerized forms of silicic acid at the aqueous solution-tributylphosphate plane interface on the rate of mass transfer of inorganic substances from aqueous phase into organic one is estimated. Mass transfer coefficients are reduced both in case of diffusion (HCl, HNO3) and in case of kinetic (zirconium nitrate) regimes of extraction. 7 refs., 1 fig., 2 tabs
