Roentgenoanatomical architectonics of the hepatic veins
Description
Intraorganic angioarchitectonics of the hepatic veins was studied in 101 human liver tissue specimens using hepatophlebography. Five groups of specimens were singled out according to the number of the intraorganic hepatic veins. Variance anatomy of the main hepatic veins was shown in each group manifesting itself in the variability of their formation, location, size and interrelationships with the drainage zones. Some dependence in the structure of the main hepatic veins was established in the presence of additional veins in the liver. Possible variants of the additional veins in the liver are presented
