Copolymerization under devitrification of the acrylic acid-acetone system
- 1. AN SSSR, Chernogolovka. Inst. Khimicheskoj Fiziki
Description
The mechanism of acetone-acrylic acid copolymerization at devitrification of the glassy form monomer solutions irradiated by Co6O source to a certain dose was studied. This process leads to the thermostable polymers resembling polyacrylates. Phase diagram and the change of polymerization rate were investigated by a diathermic calorimeter. The yield of polymer versus initial concentration of acrylic acid is given
