Optoelectronic display units - status and trends

Optoelectronic display units are getting increasing attention. This is not surprising as the success of an electronic instrument often depends on its display characteristics. Functioning and uses of some of the most recent display units are analyzed in order to illustrate the development towards high brightness, optimum angle of view, energy consumption, service life, etc. (orig.)

Optoelektronische Anzeigeeinheiten erweisen sich gegenwaertig in der Elektronik als immer hervorstechender - eine nicht ueberraschende Tatsache, da bekanntlich der Erfolg eines elektronischen Geraets oftmals von den Eigenheiten seiner Anzeige bestimmt ist. In diesem Beitrag werden Wirkungsweise und Anwendung neuester Anzeigeeinheiten analysiert, um jene Entwicklung hervorzuheben, die hohe Leistung in bezug auf Helligkeit, Blickwinkel, Leistungsverbrauch, Lebensdauer usw. sichert.
