Description
The results of a cross-flow hot test for separating Am from fission product lanthanides in a Am/Ln fraction originated from a HLW hot partitioning process are presented. A high separation factor, SFAm/Ln, of ∝3500 in each stage shows that bis(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)dithiophosphinic acid (HBTMPDTP) can effectively separate Am from fission product lanthanides. (orig.)
