Calculation of soliton contribution to cross-section of elastic neutron scattering by molecular chains
Description
Differential cross section of elastic coherent scattering of slow neutrons on molecular chains, in soliton states is calculated. It is shown that as a function of scattering angles it possesses specific maxima different from usual bragg peaks. Expressiveness of such maxima grows with the increase of soliton sizes. The results obtained can be used for experiments on detection of solitons in molecular chains
