Two possible improvements for pnQRPA: application to the 2νββ decay

  • 1. Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering, Bucharest (Romania)

Description

Two distinct many body procedures, aiming at improving the QRPA formalism for proton-neutron dipole excitations are succinctly described. These are the boson expansion for bi-fermion operators and the full self-consistent QRPA. Applications for the 2νββ process are presented. (author)
