Ultraregenerator with frequency capture for observation of nuclear guadrupole resonance

Description

The scheme of the ultraregenerator with frequency capture from external generator of 20-70 MHz frequency range is described. The design permits to separate either pure absorption line or dispersions by changing capacities in the ultraregenerator circuit. The usage of the ultraregenerator with external suppression has given the possibility to control the coherence degree of the device operation by changing the capture voltage. The frequency of suppression is chosen by the highest sensitivity of the superregenerator and constitutes 38 kHz. Oscillations amplitude in the circuit is 0.5 V, modulation frequency is 30 Hz, frequency modulation is 3 kHz. The described ultraregenerator can be used as a basis for the nuclear quadrupole resonance spectrometer. It has been tested as a thermoconverter in the 77-443 K temperature range. Testing results have shown that on the base of such ultraregenerator the precise thermometer can be constructed with a wider temperature range as compared to the existing instruments of such type
