Description

In the present work, the behaviour of pellets sintered densities as a function of the green density and temperature was determined. By means of compacting the spray-dried powders, in the pressures between 150 MN/m2 to 350 MN/m2 and sintering the green pellets in the temperatures of 1500 deg C to 1700 deg C, for 1 to 3 hours, an experimental equation was proposed to give a relationship between sintered densities and these parameters. The density results denotes a little dependence of the sintered density results denotes a little dependence of the sintered density with the compacting pressure or green density, while with temperature the sensitivity of this property was greater.
