SuperCritical Water-cooled Reactor Project Status
Description
Analyses of Design Basis Accidents: 1. Loss of coolant due to break of any coolant supply line; 2. Trip of the recirculation pump of the primary system; 3. Loss of power supply for the loop and loss of heat sink; 4. Blockage of the coolant flow path; 5. Detachment of the wire wrap of the fuel assembly; 6. Buckling collapse of the internal structures of the pressure tube; 7. Coolant bypassing the test section, e.g. due to inside cracks; 8. Accumulation of radiolysis gas; 9. Core reactivity response to off-design conditions of the test section.
