The stability of beryllium complexes with organic ligands-[Part]III. O-hydroxybenzophenone
Description
The complex formation of Be2+ with o-hydroxybenzophenone has been studied by Irving-Rossotti method. The effect of ligand-to-metal ratio (r) on [n(overlined)max]pH in the range 10 ≤ r ≤ 120 is to increase its value to 1.6 and suppress hydrolysis. The value of log K1 at rmax is 7.5 ± 0.1. (author)
