Eco information 12. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost , a.s., on the environment within December 2007

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP and Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (VYZ) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - December 2007 (for NPP V1, VYZ A1, and VYZ MSVP, respectively) were: 3.677 TBq (0.184% of annually limit (AL)) for V1 of rare gases; 58.142 MBq (0.073% AL) for V1), 4.05 MBq (0.431% of AL) for VYZ A1 and 1.263 MBq (0.421% of AL) for VYZ MSVP) of aero-soles; 63.653 MBq (0.098% of AL) for V1) of iodine. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a December 2007 for NPP V1, VYZ A1 and VYZ MSVP, respectively) were: 0.304 TBq (V1) of rare gases; 2.662 MBq (V1), 0.439 MBq (VYZ A1) and 0.555 MBq (VYZ MSVP) of aero-soles; 2.044 MBq (V1) of iodine; 2.617 MBq (V1) and 4.440 MBq (VYZ, totally) of corrosive and fission products, and 226.3 GBq (V1) and 6.23 GBq (VYZ, totally) of tritium. For the period January - December 2007 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 22.514 MBq (0.173% of AL) for V1, 79.55 MBq (0.66% of AL) for VYZ; and for tritium it is 99.1 GBq (0.496% of AL) for V1, 49.36 GBq (0.494% of AL) for VYZ, and into recipient of Dudvah River represent for corrosive and fission products 5130.1 MBq (25.651% of AL) for VYZ; and for tritium it is 231.62 GBq (2.32% of AL) for VYZ.
