The 1978 New South Wales fireball
Description
A very large meteor fireball passed through the atmosphere above the east coast of New South Wales early in the morning of 7 April 1978. From the large number of reports obtained from eye-witnesses the ground track, the time, brightness, heading, entry angle, end height, end point and velocity of the fireball are defined. Anomalous sounds were reported by a large number of people. (UK)
