What is the rate of the Arnold diffusion
Description
Modern representations about the Arnold diffusion-universal instability of motion in multidimensional nonlinear oscillating systems are reviewed. Special attention is paid to estimations of the diffusion rate. Two new effects of the Arnold fast diffusion in the systems with strong and weak nonlinearity are discussed. 23 refs.; 8 figs
