Description
The effect of additions of Zr to equi-atomic nitinol shape memory alloys, which were neutron irradiated at room temperature with a fluence of 5x1022 N/m2 and subsequently post-irradiation annealed at 600 C degree on the transformation temperatures were measured by using electrical resistivity measurements. At small addition of Zr, decrease in these temperatures were obtained, but as more as Zr is added, the transformation temperatures are elevated. The neutron irradiation depressed these temperatures, post-irradiation annealing annihilated irradiation alterations
