In vivo measurement by the use of x-ray and radioisotope
Description
The author discusses the x-ray and γ-ray measurements of objects which he believes to be fundamentally important. Because the kind radioisotope to be chosen prior to measurement is also very important, he explains the short half-life radioisotope which has great future possibilities. In vivo activation analysis, transmission x-rays, scanning kymograph, fluorescent x-rays, application of Cherenkov light measurement and radiotomy (incoherent method) have great future possibilities. Since quantitative measurements can be obtained from the sections by these methods, he outlines the radioisotope-x-rays combination method as well as the radiotomy characteristic of radioistope method.
