Nuclear medium effects on the π-nucleus double charge exchange reaction on Te isotopes

Description
The generalized seniority model is applied to the study of nuclear medium effects in the pion-nucleus double charge exchange (Dcx) reaction on Te isotopes. The plane wave limit is adopted in the investigation of the Dcx reaction, and differences have been found in the nuclear structure dependence between the double isobaric analog state transition and the ground state transition. The optical potential of pion-nucleus scattering and that of single charge exchange are also studied for Te isotopes. (Author)
