Halflives of rp-Process Waiting Point Nuclei

Description

The fragment separator at GSI, Darmstadt, has been used to produce and separate very proton rich nuclei in the 100Sn region. By fragmentation of a 112Sn beam at 1 A·GeV we produced nuclei along the rp-process path between 77Y and 98In. By implanting these ions into a silicon detector stack we were able to determine their halflives. Preliminary data are presented
