ABOUT US The Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI), formerly the Philippine Atomic Energy Commission, has been the center of nuclear science and technology activities in the country since 1958. The PNRI is mandated to develop and regulate the safe and peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology in the Philippines. "We contribute to the improvement of the quality of Filipino life through the highest standards of nuclear research and development, specialized nuclear services, nuclear technology transfer and effective and efficient implementation of nuclear safety practices and regulations." OUR VISION The PNRI is an institution of excellence in nuclear science and technology propelled by a dynamic and committed workforce in the mainstream of national development.
