Description ad classification of nuclear shelters

Description

The characteristic features of seventy one types of nuclear shelters have been studied. These shelters protect the citizens from the dangerous effects of nuclear explosions. The analytical study helped the authors to name and classify the nuclear shelters according to their sites, construction materials and shapes. This study is summarized in comparative tables. These nuclear shelters are classified into domestic N.S. and public N.S. The domestic N.S. N.S. include indoor N.S. and outdoor N.S. which are classified into above ground N.S., Semi mounded N.S., trench N.S. and underground N.S. The public N.S. are also classified into single purpose N.S., dual used N.S. and converted N.S. This work helps citizens, engineers, factories and government to recognize the various types of nuclear shelters to select the suitable types for the different sites
