Development of plasma diagnostics and short pulse laser plasma interaction studies
Description
Development of some important fast diagnostics are reported to study the laser produced plasma relevant to inertial confinement fusion (ICF). They provide various important information about x-ray emission from plasma with a high spatial, temporal and spectral resolution. Results of x-ray emission from picosecond laser produced plasma expanding across the magnetic field as well as its relevance to inertial confinement fusion are discussed. (author)
