Optimized blocking transformations for SU(3) gauge theory

Description
Optimized blocking transformations are useful for the determination of the lattice β-function by effectively improving the matching after fewer blocking steps. Here we present optimized transformations using three types of paths for SU(3) lattice gauge theory. (orig.)
