Difference radiation meter for low-level beta activity measurement

The difference radiation meter for low-level beta activity is presented and analysed. The background, resolution, minimum detectable activity and lowest limit of measuring error are calculated. Computing relations indicate the effect of background reduction at the anticoincidence background level for a beta difference radiation meter with a sandwich of tow identical detectors. (Author)
