Description

Double-contrast examination of the pharynx using a modified Valsalva maneuvre to achieve full distension of pharyngeal structures, is a safe and easy. Conventional screen-film radiographs are compared with storage phosphor digital images and the value of this examination is illustrated by case reports. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Die Pharynxzielaufnahme in Doppelkontrasttechnik unter modifiziertem Valsalvamanoever ist eine einfach durchfuehrbare und den Patienten kaum belastende Untersuchung, die einen festen Platz zu Beginn einer Stufendiagnostik bei Larynx- und Pharynxerkrankungen haben sollte. Dabei stellt die Digitale Luminiszenzradiographie ein der konventionellen Technik ebenbuertiges Diagnostikum, verbunden mit den Vorteilen der digitalen Informationsverarbeitung und einer ansprechenderen Bildpraesentation, dar.
